Currently listening to : Mad by Neyo

Date : 15/11/08

As early as 6am, the sun had already rise. Had our buffet breakfast in the hotel before we start our day. The best thing is that the breakfast does serve bacon ( pork ) but it often finish in a short time.

Then we headed to Ayutthaya, the ancient city by the same taxi. The taxi driver was real friendly and funny as well. Been told from the driver that the king's sister funeral service took place in the grand palace for 3 days, so our plan to grand palace had been cancelled. Headed to the Bang Pa-In Palace during our ride to Ayutthaya. Costs 100 baht a ticket.

I'd been here earlier this year. So, here i am again. For more info, please have a look here. Haha!

A statue on top of a roof.

Roman style statue can be found in this palace.

He let us to take a photo with him. Lol...

We stopped by where the humongous reclining buddha situated.

Next stop, ayutthaya town where the ayutthaya empire located. It was an old ancient city with many ruins still standing majestically until today. Sadly, many vandals and thieves stole the head of buddha statues because of its gold coating on it.

One of the statue that is still in a good condition, sort of.

The beautiful wat that are still standing high till today.

Ruins.

Missing body.

We went to wat mahathat after that where the famous buddha head surrounded by tree roots located.

The rest of the day, we went back to hotel and had a rest till night. Had our dinner in siam paragon food court again cause we had no idea where to eat. Lastly, some walk around the city of bangkok. I began to miss there. T.T I wanna migrate there. XD
